North Bellport Strong Day of Unity coming up on Earth Day, April 22, 2023! ALL ARE WELCOME! The Day will begin with a march at 12 noon at the corner of Station Road and Montauk Highway and proceed to Robert Rowley Park (500 Patchogue Avenue Bellport, NY 11713).
This is going to be a wonderful day of community-building and connecting at the heart of North Bellport, with a focus on bringing unity and awareness to the various issues that this community is facing.
They will focus specifically on environmental justice with the toxic Brookhaven Landfill, the need to fight for clean air, clean water, and a healthy future for the community. They will be making the connection to various other issues that also affect the community including education, community safety, incarceration and police violence, food, mental health, youth thriving, and more.
